Fine lines and wrinkles result through the lack of collagen and elastin in the skin. LED light penetrates into the dermis layer of the skin, energizing the cells, thereby helping to create collagen and elastin, much the same as when you were younger. Collagen helps to plump up the skin, while elastin helps to firm the skin thus diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. It’s that simple!
Photo Rejuvenation or Light Therapy is the use of light to create an anti-aging effect on the skin and is quickly becoming recognized as one of the safest, fastest and most affordable ways to achieve younger, more vibrant looking skin.
It's non-invasive, requires no surgery, no harsh chemicals, no lasers, there is no downtime or recovery time, it’s safe for all skin types, and most importantly IT WORKS! It is today's natural skin care at its finest. This process is also universally known as the 'no knife face-lift'.

High-end salons, Dermatologists and Spas offer light therapy using professional panel type LED lights.
If you are the type of person who demands the best, most efficient and latest technology available, then this is the light for you. The Fine-Light system is for those of you who are interested in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, and restoring the youthful radiance of your skin. This is the light that professionals have been using in their salons with great results.
Fine-Light's LED technology enables the light to reach powerfully into the Dermis layer of the skin and produce fast and effective results. Fine-Light is manufactured using the highest quality medical LEDs available.
Your Skin is made up of 3 layers: the Epidermis, the Dermis and the Subcutaneous.
The Epidermis is the outer layer made up of non-living cells that form your body's protective cover. These cells are constantly being shed and replaced by new ones. The new cells are made in the lower part of the Epidermis. These are called Keratinocytes which produce the tough, fibrous protein called Keratin
The next layer is the Dermis. It is thicker and contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue.
Collagen, approximately 3/4 of the Dermis is made up of this protein which is responsible for the strength and plumpness of the skin.
Elastin, which is responsible mainly for the elasticity of the skin.
The next layer is the Subcutaneous, it is the layer that contains the fatty tissues and stores energy, provides warmth and a cushion etc. People need certain wavelengths of light similar to the way plants need sunlight to thrive.
Photo Rejuvenation produced by LEDs translates the process of plant photosynthesis into the workings of human skin cells; stimulating the body's own cells to build new proteins the same way plants use Chlorophyll to convert sunlight into cellular building blocks.
Your skin and other body tissues have the ability to absorb light and use it as a source of energy to stimulate cellular regeneration. The light rays that are emitted from the Fine-Light are beneficial for your skin, as they contain no UV rays. The problem with getting these same light rays from the sun is that you also get the harmful UV rays. These harmful rays can do more damage to your skin than good. With LED Light Therapy, when the correct wavelengths of light are closely and intensely flowed into the body, some pretty startling things start to occur:
Collagen and Elastin are produced in cells called Fibroblasts. Inside these cells is a smaller cellular structure called Mitochondrias.
Mitochondrias are responsible for converting nutrients into an energy carrier known scientifically as Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). This (ATP) fuels the cell's activities; it basically gives the cells the needed energy to do their job. This is the reason that Mitochondrias are frequently referred to as the powerhouse of the cell.
The LEDs sends light rays into the Fibroblast cells, which in turn excite the Mitochondrias into producing in some cases up to 10 times more ATP, but usually 2 to 4 times. This fuels the cell's activities, which causes more of the needed Collagen and Elastin to be produced, as well as other needed materials for the skin.
The Collagen plumps up the skin to fill in fine lines and wrinkles while the Elastin helps to firm skin that has began to sag. This whole Photo Rejuvenating process results in skin that appears more youthful, smoother, healthier and more radiant!
It is the same process as photosynthesis in plants. Exact wavelengths of light emitted from LED’s stimulate and energize cellular activity, which in turn creates Collagen and Elastin for Anti-Aging benefits. For Acne, certain wavelengths of LED light help to kill the bacteria that causes Acne.
Unlike many devices on the market today, LED Light Therapy has been thoroughly tested, evaluated and validated by hundreds of Universities, Medical Labs and most importantly NASA. There have actually been over 2000 reports and documents written on this technology.
Yes it is safe and completely non-invasive. It has been used for years in numerous medical procedures, medical spas, the offices of estheticians and Dermatologists and consumers around the world.
No it does not cause ANY pain at all. Quite the opposite actually, as it has a very soothing and calming effect.
A mask directs the light from the LEDs on to the skin and is worn for 20 to 30 minutes. Most people find the light generated actually relaxes them.
Each person responds at different speeds to the Fine-Light System. Some much quicker than others, depending on their current physical conditions, age, skin condition, diet, alcohol consumption, smoking habits, etc. That said, most people see initial results in 4 to 8 weeks, but many see results in as short as 1 to 3 weeks. A few people will take as long as 9 to 11 weeks, but this is more unusual. Some actually see results overnight! The most important things to remember are: 1) this technology works, so it's just a matter of "How long will it take?" and 2) it is very important to take a picture before you start using your light so that you can see the difference clearly in the weeks to come.
Yes, in fact your results will happen faster and be more dramatic if used with a high quality anti-aging or moisturizing skin care product.
Yes, organic, nutritious foods and vitamins C and E are very good for the skin.
The first and most reported results happen in the area of fine lines, wrinkles, reduced pore size and skin becoming softer, smoother and less dry. Then after continued usage our customers report that looser skin begins to firm up. Age spots and hyper-pigmentation can also be improved but generally take a much longer time.
"All aspects of wrinkling, skin coarseness, pore size, irregular pigmentation showed visible improvement with Photo Rejuvenation." -Dermatology Times
"Photo Rejuvenation treatments...the results are the closest thing to a face lift that I’ve been able to achieve since becoming an esthetician." -Day Spa Magazine
"The treatment is especially effective at improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest, by reducing signs of aging, wrinkles and age spots." -Web M.D. Health
LED lights are very bright, so you should not point the Light directly at your eyes. It is essential that you wear the provided safety glasses/goggles during treatment.
(a) If you are using a thyroid medication or have a thyroid condition, do not use the Fine-Light over the thyroid gland.
(b) If you are pregnant or taking medication (such as Tetracycline) which causes light sensitivity, you should consult your physician before using Fine-Light.
